Head of Project Management (Construction)

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Construction Project Manager who will oversee and manage construction projects ranging from pre-construction through completion and maintenance services. This person is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members and uphold high quality of standards.

Responsibilities Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and budgets.

Coordinate with various project team members to facilitate smooth project execution.

Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Negotiate contractors and change orders with subcontractors/vendors.

Monitor project progress and performance – staying proactive.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, stakeholders, building codes, etc.

Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality and ensure compliance.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or proven equivalent experience.

Strong business acumen in project planning and management.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in project management software such as Autodesk.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between jobsites.

Must live local to the Bay Area (California). Unable to support relocation expenses.
