Full Time: Starting Pay: $24 to $29.85/hour Weekly pay

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, develop, organize and direct the Social Services Program.
Counsel patients and families including dealing with feelings about death or dying and other emotional, mental, environmental or physical limitations.
Complete the social service portion of the MDS within 14 days of admission.
Act as liaison with social, health, and community agencies.
Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a Bachelor Degree preferred from an approved social work course of study is preferred or minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing center or other medical center.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision of social services assistant(s), if necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
