Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to accurately identify students' mental health concerns, personal strengths, and available resources.

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling through various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique circumstances, establishing measurable goals and necessary interventions.

• Work collaboratively with school faculty, psychiatric professionals, and related service providers to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.

• Offer crisis intervention, risk assessments, and develop safety plans in urgent situations to safeguard the well-being of students.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Facilitate psychoeducation programs, group therapy sessions, and support groups aimed at equipping students with coping skills and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will consist of students ranging from elementary to high school. You will engage with a diverse population experiencing a wide array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. By addressing these challenges, you contribute significantly to their academic success and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient mental health or school-based setting.
\n
• Proficient understanding of various evidence-based treatment modalities and methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong assessment capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
