Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each student’s mental health status, identifying their strengths, challenges, and specific needs.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address the unique mental health needs of students.

• Engage in regular collaboration with educators, school administrators, and allied health professionals to develop a cohesive and comprehensive care plan for each student.

• Educate students and their families about mental health diagnoses, possible treatment options, and the implications of any medications prescribed.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are goal-oriented and evidence-based, ensuring that sessions are tailored to each student’s context.

• Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and adapt individual treatment plans, incorporating feedback and input from students and their families.

• Assist students in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and ensuring they receive appropriate services.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
