Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments including interviews and medical history reviews to identify emotional and social factors impacting students' academic success and overall well-being.

• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, focusing on issues related to adjustment, grief, coping strategies, and mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, school nurses, and other health professionals, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the individual psychosocial needs of each student.

• Educate students and families about available community resources such as support groups, vocational training services, and additional post-rehabilitation resources.

• Facilitate discharge planning and support transitions to alternative care settings when necessary, ensuring continuity and cohesiveness in care.

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaborative feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, the primary focus will be on the school-age population. You will be working with children and adolescents who may be dealing with various mental health issues, emotional disturbances, or situational crises. Compensation and Benefits\n
