Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based frameworks.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring alignment with client goals.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring that patient confidentiality is preserved.

• Collaborate closely with a treatment team to coordinate care for patients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Contribute to case consultations and engage in peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to foster an informed support network.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health practices, integrating new knowledge into clinical strategies.

• Manage an active caseload effectively, ensuring timely progress towards treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students within educational settings who are facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. Your ability to connect with children and adolescents will be crucial in helping them navigate their emotional and psychological struggles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
\n
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, preferably in school or community mental health settings.
\n
• Strong foundation in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and a passionate commitment to patient-centered care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n
