Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility to our staff while still allowing for meaningful engagement with students and families. You will work closely with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive and enriching environment. Although remote, regular virtual meetings and collaboration sessions ensure cohesive teamwork and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students facing a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to better understand each student's unique needs, developing individualized treatment plans that prioritize their emotional and psychological growth.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and state laws, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for seamless tracking of client progress.

• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to identify at-risk students, facilitating referrals to appropriate services as needed.

• Develop and implement school-wide initiatives focused on mental health awareness, including workshops, parent training sessions, and community outreach activities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including supervision sessions, workshops, and training to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, navigating cultural sensitivities to provide tailored care that respects diverse perspectives. Your interventions will aim to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages open dialogue about mental health concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.

• Current Tennessee LCSW license enabling the capability to practice independently.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work with children and adolescents, understanding the unique issues they face.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to culturally competent care, considering the background and experiences of each client.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical practice providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with a specific focus on school-based mental health services.

• Experience with crisis intervention and management, particularly in a school context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
