Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the social, emotional, and behavioral issues presented by students, gathering relevant background information to inform treatment planning.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and play therapy to address varied mental health concerns.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual needs of each student, regularly assessing and adjusting interventions based on progress.

• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated support system for each student.

• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhering to all ethical guidelines and legal mandates, while fostering a safe therapeutic space.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities such as workshops and training sessions to remain current with cutting-edge practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW role is focused primarily on students within the school setting, ranging from elementary through high school. You will engage with a diverse range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, addressing a spectrum of issues that impact students' academic and social experiences, including but not limited to trauma, behavioral issues, family dynamics, and emotional distress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
