Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial evaluations to ascertain clients' mental health histories, identify needs, and set personal goals for therapy.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing specific mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, psychologists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for students.

• Facilitate crisis intervention and risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

• Document sessions and progress in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and therapeutic sessions designed to empower students and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of students in a school setting, ranging from elementary to high school aged children. Many of our clients may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and social difficulties. You will play an instrumental role in equipping them with coping strategies and resilience-building techniques to enhance their emotional stability and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
