Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, considering the unique backgrounds and presenting concerns of students.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed strategies.

• Work in conjunction with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all students receive the support they require.

• Provide crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and referring students for higher-level care when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse student population within the school environment, which can range from elementary to high school-aged children. Many of these students face various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your expertise will be integral in addressing these concerns, helping students navigate their mental health journeys and attain optimal functioning both academic and social.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health or educational settings, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
