Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ mental, emotional, and social needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their backgrounds and presenting issues.

• Provide individual, family, and, when necessary, couples therapy for students and their families, employing evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, regularly reviewing progress and adapting strategies as needed.

• Create a warm, nurturing therapeutic environment that fosters trust, collaboration, and growth.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment approaches, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a remote therapist, you will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and family-related challenges. This role requires an empathetic understanding of the school environment's impact on a student's emotional health, alongside the commitment to provide them with the tools necessary for success both academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
