Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts .

Work Schedule: Per Diem- first and second shift

Eligible for 10% shift differential on second shift

Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

High school diploma or GED

3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills

Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
