The CNA provides basic nursing and clerical support to nursing staff and serves as an ancillary team member in providing patient care and service to patients. This position provides daily departmental operational support and serves as clerical back-up as needed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists nurses with patient intake, pre-op, and post-op care which includes performing various activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and weight.Observes patients and immediately reports abnormalities to Registered Nurse (RN) team member.Stocks departmental supplies.One year acute or nursing home experience, preferred.Valid Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, required.Core competencies in customer service, communication, interpersonal skills, organizational support, teamwork, dependability and confidentiality.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to multiple locations.Physical RequirementsThe work environment is a typical medical office environment.
