Managing & Associate Attorney

The appropriate individual should be able to drive all projects from conception to completion, manage multiple calendars, and provide excellent customer service to all clients. You should be able to work proactively and reactively as an extension of the company while bringing a results-oriented approach with streamlined execution to every project.

The opportunity is ideal for a go-getter with a strong work ethic and time management skills. Training will be provided; 2 years of personal injury experience is preferred, but not required. These two years of experience can be as a law clerk or a similar position at a personal injury law firm. We also encourage anyone interested in switching to personal injury to apply for this position. This is a great place to start if you want to try personal injury cases and learn how to do so. Managing the day-to-day caseload, including calling clients back, following up on treatment, managing insurance claims, managing medical insurance claims, writing demands, and negotiating and settling cases.

Managing the day-to-day litigation, including adhering to court deadlines and states, taking depositions, eventually taking medical proof, and trying a case to verdict.

Drafting discovery responses, drafting initial pleadings and our discovery requests, creating medical billing summaries, following up on liens, scheduling IMEs with clients, following up on IMEs with clients, assisting with closing and making sure all liens are paid and finalized, creating different graphics such as medical charts or evidence charts for trial.

Exceptional interpersonal/communication and writing skills.

Computer experience. Apple computer experience preferred.
