Production Machinist (Manufacturing)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, adjust, and operate manual machining equipment (engine lathes (25" to 40"), turrent lathes, milling machines, drills and tool grinders) to produce high-quality components that meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.

Set up and operate manual machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
Measure and verify parts using precision instruments to maintain tight tolerances
Inspect finished components for quality and document results or identify defects
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
Communicate any safety concerns, equipment issues, or production challenges to supervision
Support team goals and production needs by completing additional tasks as required
High school diploma or equivalent
Hands-on experience operating manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts)
Frequent walking and movement throughout the workday
Stable, growing manufacturing environment
