Swiss CNC Machine OperatorSwiss CNC Machine Operator Company Overview: We are an AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 certified precision job shop located in East Hartford with a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality, tight-tolerance components. We serve a wide range of industries including automotive, medical, military/defense, marine, and commercial sectors.35–$40/hour (based on experience) Full benefits package including Health & Dental insurance Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off Clean, organized working environment Supportive, team-focused culture Small company settingPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have experience producing precision components, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsSet up and operate Swiss CNC machinesPerform routine machine adjustments and tool changesMonitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualifications:2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machinesStrong understanding of CNC programming; Experience with multi-axis Swiss machines (Citizen, Tsugami)Experience machining a variety of materials including stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminumFamiliarity with high-precision, tight-tolerance manufacturing environmentsProgramming experience is a plus
