What You'll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
Assess patient conditions and prioritize urgent needs using the nursing process
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families
Document patient data accurately and promptly in electronic health records
Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in fast-paced environments
Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
What You Need
Required:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with medical software and patient documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
~ Certification in clinical specialty areas
