The position is fully in-office for the first 90 days

5+ years of New York defense paralegal experience required

Based in Woodbridge Township, NJ, we are a multidisciplinary law firm known for its client-focused approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering practical results. The General Liability defense team is expanding and seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated general liability defense matters across New Jersey and New York. This role is ideal for a seasoned New York defense paralegal who values substantive litigation support, collaborative teamwork, and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Independently prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses and medical records while scheduling, noticing, confirming, gathering and producing all records related to Independent Medical Examinations; Draft motions to compel, motions for sanctions, motions for extraordinary relief, and motions to enforce subpoenas in support of active general liability defense matters across New Jersey and New York.

Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media searches, and background searches in support of litigation strategy and case evaluation.

Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of New York defense paralegal experience required with demonstrated experience handling both NJ and NY cases; experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e‑document management software preferred, with strong self‑motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively; this is a fully on‑site position.
