Construction field engineering

The Field Engineer will play a critical role in supporting project execution by assisting with technical aspects, coordinating on-site activities, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects.
Interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with project goals.
Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to track project progress and resolve issues.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot challenges that arise in the field.
Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
Conduct field measurements and verify installation accuracy against design specifications.
Assist in quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Monitor and enforce job site safety in accordance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Support project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; 1-3 years of experience in mechanical construction or related industry preferred .

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment.
Physical and/or travel demands:
Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
Ability to walk, stand, and climb ladders or scaffolding as required.
