Role Overview They are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Underwriter/Underwriting Specialist to join their complex accounts team. This group is responsible for underwriting the most sophisticated and high-exposure accounts in the portfolio, including those with total property limits in excess of $100 million.

The Underwriting Specialist will manage a dedicated book of new and renewal business, serving as a primary contact while collaborating with internal teams and broker partners to achieve strong underwriting results.

***This is a hybrid role in San Diego, CA - only San Diego-based candidates or those open to self-relocate to San Diego will be considered for this opportunity.*** Key Responsibilities Underwrite and market a book of large, complex personal lines risks through broker partners

Contribute to marketing and underwriting projects that support organizational growth

Travel as needed for business purposes

Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal lines P&C insurance

Experience underwriting large/complex HNW accounts

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Strong knowledge of underwriting practices, policies, and procedures

Proven ability to independently manage a personal book of business

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
