ASCP - Laboratory Medical Technologist / Technician

Shift: Day / Evening / Nights MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Lab Tech to join our healthcare team. The Tech will perform various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. This role requires proficiency in conducting tests on bodily fluids, tissues, and other specimens using sophisticated laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols, accuracy in documenting and reporting results, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities for Med Tech:

Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and procedures.

Perform analyses on biological specimens such as blood, urine, and tissues.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.

Prepare specimens for examination, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Analyze test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.

Maintain and update laboratory records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assist in quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain laboratory accreditation.

Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care and accurate test interpretation.

Stay informed about advancements in laboratory technology and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in required field

ASCP required within 9 months of employment
