Temp/Travel -Registered Nurse (RN) HOME HEALTH (Nights)

Registered Nurse – Med Surg with telemetry experience is sought for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The role features 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) with every other weekend coverage and on-call/callback as needed. Weekly pay ranges from $2,213 to $2,366. The position is in an acute care hospital setting and may involve expanded responsibilities according to unit needs.
Weekly pay: $2,213 - $2,366 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 12-hour rotating (D/E/N)
• Setting: acute care hospital
• Telemetry experience required
• Expanded role options (charge nurse, preceptor, committee member) as assigned by unit needs
• On-call/callback coverage as required by the unit

Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring

• develop and update care plans; Monitor telemetry readings, vitals, and clinical status; respond to rhythm changes and escalate to the physician as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team; document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support unit operations in expanded roles as assigned (charge nurse, preceptor, committee member) and assist with staff orientation when appropriate
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; ensure continuity of care and adherence to established policies

Current New York RN license (active)

• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; Education: RN licensure in New York
