Maintenance - Locksmith - Full time

This position is located within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the VA Loma Linda Health Care System, Loma Linda, CA, in the Facilities Management Service serving as the Medical Center's Locksmith. The primary purpose of this Locksmith position is the installation, and maintenance of various mechanical and electronic security hardware.
Help
Repairing, overhauls, modifies, tests and installs a variety of locking devices found on doors, and other secured locations throughout medical center;
Installing devices with features such as dual locking capabilities, mechanical interaction with timing mechanisms, combination locks or actuating mechanisms;
Determining the application for installing and maintaining electronic locks and keying devices;
Troubleshooting and repairing electronic locks and keying devices using electronic test and repair equipment;
Determining, installing, and maintaining the correct door closer for a door size, weight, swing and operation;
Maintaining records and logs for lock systems, key assignments, and related equipment;
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
