Fulltime - HR Generalist

Job Summary The HR Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and performing HR-related duties on a generalist level. Human Resources (75%), Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility (25%). The role will be a full-time, non-exempt level position. This position is hybrid and requires 3 days in-office.

Essential Functions Human Resources

Responsible for the onboarding of new hires

Processes new employee background checks and communicates results to the hiring manager

Responds to missing document requests outlined on the monthly missing file report

Responds to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll and employee policies and procedures

Assists with drafting routine employment and change of status agreements and for managing and uploading all agreements to the SharePoint site

Responsible for managing the I9 process for new hires and the I9 compliance report

Responsible for various HR reporting requirements and report requests to include the monthly headcount report and new hire/term report

Provide support, as needed, including scheduling and communication about meetings and events to include D&I Leadership meetings, ERG meetings and events and Learning & Development events (webinars; Assist with content development and communications with key internal and external stakeholders

Assist in preparing presentations and other resource materials

Conduct and/or assist with research on D&I best practices, policies, trends, data, consultants, and speakers

Serve as an additional point of contact for internal D&I requests and/or questions

Assist with data and activities tracking and reporting

Process Allegis Foundation requests and follow up with employees and charities

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills Knowledge of HR practices and Employment Law

Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills

Adheres to the policies and procedures of the organization

Ability to effectively manage work across multiple applications, databases, and platforms while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

Education and Experience BA/BS, in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline

2+ years of experience in Human Resources

Prior experience in D&I, which may include employee-led groups or Diversity Council participation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
