Role Description The Police Officer is a full-time, on‑site role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area, serving Northside ISD campuses and facilities. This role involves patrolling school grounds, monitoring entrances and common areas, and responding to calls to maintain a safe and secure learning environment. The Police Officer will investigate incidents, enforce applicable laws and district policies, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with school administrators and staff regarding safety concerns. Daily responsibilities also include engaging positively with students, families, and community members, providing guidance on safety practices, and supporting campus activities and events as needed. The Officer is expected to maintain professional conduct, use sound judgment in high‑pressure situations, and participate in ongoing training related to school safety and law enforcement best practices.

Candidates should possess skills in conflict resolution, de‑escalation techniques, and problem‑solving in diverse and dynamic school settings.

Candidates should possess proficiency in basic report writing, incident documentation, and use of relevant technology and communication systems.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related fields is beneficial.

Candidates should possess prior law enforcement, security, or school‑based safety experience;
