Medical Receptionist/Front Desk for Primary Care

As a receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. As a receptionist, you'll:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Prior experience in a Medical Office Setting
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience with ERM Athena

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 to 5:00

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
