G-3 Chickadee Laboratory Technician
G-3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is embarking on an exciting transformation. As a newly independent, PE-backed organization, we are standing up our own infrastructure, modernizing core systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building the technology foundation for our next chapter. Local candidates preferred due to proximity to the worksite and interview/onboarding logistics. Relocation is not available.
As a Laboratory Technician, you'll play a critical role in process control, product quality, and release decisions. You'll perform laboratory testing, validate results for accuracy and consistency, and communicate findings that keep our plant running safely and efficiently.
Perform a variety of laboratory tests to support process control and finished product grading.
Enter results into computer systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform minor maintenance on laboratory instruments to ensure reliable operation.
Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies.
High School Diploma or GED

• Successful completion of a minimum of 20 semester hours of college level chemistry including:
• General Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry
• Quantitative Chemistry, and/or
• Instrumental Analytical Chemistry
