Head of Plant Operations

Director of Operations
Lead operations in achieving the objectives as it relates to the physical processing of corn into value-added commodities. Keep CEO, CFO and Director of Commodities apprised of plant operations and their impact on daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast. Develop processes, policies, and programs that provide results enabling company to achieve upper quartile performance of our peer group.

Develop, procure, and utilize tools to facilitate data driven decision making.

In collaboration with plant manager, optimize team structure, define roles/responsibilities, and create a culture of accountability. Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with the engineering manager to provide company with the best return on capital and advancement towards company objectives.

Critically review performance against planned expectation. Participate in Leadership Team meetings, board meetings, and company planning functions.
