The Ash Group is hiring a Project Manager (24527) for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12-month contract working in Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid). We are offering a pay rate up to $64 per hour W2 based on skill set.

Compensation: $64/hr W2

Project Manager for decarbonization initiatives, leading pilot and R&D projects under a national program, managing vendors, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and greenhouse gas calculations.

Lead contracted vendors and internal teams to achieve pilot project goals within constraints

Assist in developing future pilot project scope, budget, deliverables, milestones, roles, and value proposition

Collaborate with partners to manage all phases of the project lifecycle

Rigorously manage scope and propose recommendations for adjustments

Proactively manage scope changes, identify risks, and implement mitigations

Develop and manage project budget, forecast benefits, and reconcile expenditures

Create communication plans for stakeholder awareness and project updates

Leverage cross-functional relationships for successful project completion

Maintain awareness of greenhouse gas reduction technologies and emerging solutions

Apply standards and best practices for expert project management

Optimize time to manage multiple initiatives with varying requirements simultaneously

Bachelor's degree in business, environmental studies, engineering, or public policy

5-10 years of project management experience in utility, energy, sustainability or related industry

Direct experience with greenhouse gas emissions reduction calculations using GREET lifecycle assessment pathways

Experience performing greenhouse gas calculations

Experience working cross-functional and coordinating projects across teams

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

Experience in carbon offsets and additional greenhouse gas emission reduction programs and calculations
