Our firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team and actively participate in all phases of litigation.
Position Overview As a Litigation Attorney , you will manage a diverse caseload, guide clients through complex legal matters, and represent them vigorously in court. The ideal candidate has a strong background in litigation, excellent advocacy skills, and a passion for justice.
Salary : $120,000 - $170,000 annually, plus an attractive bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities Litigation Management: Oversee all phases from case inception through trial, including strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide advice, and develop strategies
Court Representation: Represent clients in hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings with high-quality advocacy
Legal Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategy and support arguments
Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests that are clear, concise, and persuasive
Trial Preparation: Collaborate with paralegals and staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions
Case Analysis: Evaluate cases, identify issues, and recommend actions
Client Relations: Maintain strong communication and provide regular updates on case status
Qualifications Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensing: Licensed to practice law in California and knowledgeable in state and federal litigation procedures
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, emphasizing personal injury or employment law
Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, courtroom, and legal writing skills
Trial Experience: Proven trial experience with the ability to represent clients in high‑stakes situations
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking with meticulous attention to detail
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple cases
