The Company is seeking a Dean of Academic Affairs to provide essential leadership in all education and training areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding retention and attendance goals, developing and maintaining the master schedule for programs and courses, and ensuring the quality of faculty and staff through recruitment, training, and evaluation. The Dean will also oversee the Education Department's administrative duties, including the maintenance of grades, attendance, and record-keeping, and will be involved in the continuous improvement of instructional quality through student satisfaction surveys and faculty development activities.
Applicants for the Dean of Academic Affairs position at the company must have a Master's degree in Education from an accredited institution, a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a college-level educational setting, and a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at the college level. The role requires the ability to work extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays, and demands a candidate who is patient, empathetic, adaptable, and enjoys problem-solving. The Dean will also be expected to lead staff meetings, support the performance appraisal process, and develop staff through coaching and mentoring.
