We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.
Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goals
Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
Document treatments, progress notes, and required clinical information accurately and timely
Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
Collaborate with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
Positive attitude and resident-centered approach
Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals
