Dental Inbound Receptionist (Open Dental)
Texas Dental and Braces | Potranco location, San Antonio, TX
Full-time - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM - No nights, no weekends
Every patient who calls Texas Dental and Braces reaches you first. If you already know how a dental front office runs and genuinely like being that steady person for people, read on.
A set schedule you can plan your life around — weekdays, 8 to 5, home every evening

A team that backs you up — the office staff is a message away when you need to confirm a detail or solve something on the spot, everyone is working with you as you work with patients
Field 30+ calls a day — scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and billing or payment questions
Book the whole family when you can — one call is often a chance to get a spouse or kids on the books too
Meet patients wherever they reach out: phone, email, text, or online message
Catch new online appointment requests, book them into open chairs, and get their forms into the system
Loop in the office team to confirm details and solve things in real time
Document carefully and keep patient information protected, every time
1+ year of dental front-office experience handling patient calls and scheduling
Hands‑on experience with Open Dental
Solid grasp of dental terminology, procedures, and PPO insurance guidelines and coding
Clear, professional communication — phone, written, and in person
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with online scheduling and patient‑messaging tools
A strong customer‑service background
