Position Overview

The Paralegal will provide comprehensive litigation support for attorneys handling matters involving:

Commercial Litigation

Insurance Litigation

Personal Injury Litigation

Construction Litigation

Professional Negligence Cases

This role will be involved in legal research, document preparation, case management, trial preparation, and client communication, helping ensure cases progress efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed document review and analysis to support case preparation and litigation strategy

Draft, prepare, proofread, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, correspondence, and discovery materials

Maintain and organize both physical and electronic case files

Track court deadlines, filing requirements, and critical case milestones

Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing matters

Assist attorneys with trial preparation and overall case management

Interview clients and witnesses to obtain information and supporting documentation

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and attorney calendars

Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties

Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient workflow and case progression

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal and client information

Required Qualifications

3-5+ years of Paralegal experience required , preferably in a litigation environment

Demonstrated experience working under attorney supervision

Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and document review processes

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a Paralegal Studies Program and/or Paralegal Certificate

Experience supporting litigation matters involving commercial, insurance, personal injury, construction, or professional negligence cases
