Adjunct Instructor of Real Estate Careers Preparation
Department of Real Estate Development
The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise in commercial real estate careers preparation. The successful candidate will be able to teach an undergraduate‑level course on career assessment and planning, an overview of the commercial real‑estate industry and career path options, and professional development skills.
Responsibilities
Deliver course content.
Schedule and hold office hours, being accessible to students as appropriate.
Grade student work.
Provide students with a syllabus outlining course goals, schedule, and all requirements, under the direction of the Department Chair.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (e.g., MS Human Resources, MBA, MRED) preferred; candidates without a graduate degree may be considered with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in human resources at commercial real estate firms engaged in institutional transactions.
Significant professional experience in commercial real estate human resources.
Prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations preferred.
