Bookeeper (Accounting/Finance)

Our client is a well-established CPA firm that provides accounting and financial services to a diverse group of small and mid-sized businesses. They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team and provide accurate, timely bookkeeping support for multiple clients.

Record and classify daily financial transactions, including income and expenses

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets

Post journal entries and make necessary account adjustments

Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Prepare financial reports and bookkeeping schedules for clients and internal use

Assist with sales tax filings and other accounting-related reporting

Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment

• QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
