Summary: The Server Assistant requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibility of the Server Assistant is to facilitate the seamless flow of food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Communicate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand the status of each order.

Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen and ensure they are delivered to the appropriate tables.

Prioritize hot or time-sensitive items to maintain their temperature and quality.

Check each dish for accuracy, presentation, and adherence to quality standards before delivering to the customer.

Verify special requests or dietary restrictions and communicate them to the kitchen staff.

Work closely with servers to match food orders with the correct tables.

Support servers when needed, such as refilling water or clearing empty plates.

Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed.

Maintain open communication channels with the kitchen, servers, and other restaurant staff.

Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner during the food delivery process.

Address any guest concerns or inquiries related to the food being served.

Monitor the quality of dishes to uphold the restaurant's standards.

Report any issues or discrepancies to the kitchen or management for resolution.

Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.

Previous experience as a Server Assistant, Runner, or other support staff in a restaurant setting.

Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations
