Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including monitoring and assessing clinical status

Interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol and orders

Administer prescribed medications and therapies, document responses, and ensure safe medication administration

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in rounds and care conferences

Document in the electronic health record, ensure accurate charting of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and follow-up care; facilitate safe transitions of care

Requirements

Active nursing license in Massachusetts (RN)

Nursing degree (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate)

Minimum 2 years of Med‑Surg and/or Telemetry experience; telemetry experience required

Ability to work in a hospital-based Med‑Surg/Telemetry/ICU‑capable unit

Availability for 3x12 night shifts; 4x12 options may be available per unit

Must be outside of a 90‑mile radius from the facility
