Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float)
Olympia, WA | Short Term Acute Care
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Float across units to fill staffing needs, supporting a diverse patient population that may include ER-boarded patients, telemetry, and med/surg patients

Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity

Assume charge nurse duties as needed on smaller units, including managing staffing needs, bed flow, and general unit coordination

Document and chart using EPIC

May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as required by the assignment

Valid RN license required; Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the United States (U.Charge nurse experience is required

Must be willing to commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or intermediate care setting

Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and higher-acuity patient populations

Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
