HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

One of our best clients is currently seeking a Human resource generalist for their facility located right outside of Omaha NE. They are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join a fast‑paced food manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys supporting employees at every level, and can balance day‑to‑day HR operations with long‑term people initiatives. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish preferred) are strongly encouraged to apply, as clear communication across our diverse workforce is essential.
Employee Relations — Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors, addressing concerns, coaching leaders, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Recruiting & Onboarding — Support full‑cycle hiring for hourly and salaried roles, coordinate interviews, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
HR Compliance — Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; Training & Development — Assist with safety training, skills development, and workforce education initiatives.
Payroll & Benefits Support — Help employees navigate benefits, leave programs, and payroll questions.
HR Administration — Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS updates, and reporting.
2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, or distribution environments
Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP) a plus
