Mission Recruiting is conducting a confidential search for an Estate Planning Attorney with 3+ years of California estate planning experience to join a growing practice in San Rafael, California . This hybrid opportunity is ideal for an attorney seeking greater autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a clearly defined path to partnership.
The position offers a competitive salary of $130,000-$160,000 , multiple bonus opportunities, a manageable 1,300-hour annual billable target , dedicated administrative support, and the opportunity to help expand a thriving estate planning practice.
Productivity bonus tied to approximately 1,300 annual billable hours
10% origination bonus for new business generated
Additional performance bonus opportunities
Three days in the office
Two remote workdays each week
About the Opportunity Our client is expanding its estate planning practice and is seeking an experienced attorney who enjoys building long-term client relationships while delivering sophisticated estate planning solutions.
This role provides the autonomy to manage your own matters while benefiting from dedicated support staff, collaborative colleagues, and leadership committed to attorney development. With a realistic billable expectation and a clearly defined partnership track, this opportunity is well suited for an attorney looking to establish a long-term practice in estate planning.
Responsibilities Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents, including:
Powers of attorney
Advise clients on customized estate planning strategies
Independently manage estate planning files from consultation through completion
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service
3+ years of California estate planning experience
Strong experience drafting estate planning documents
Experience advising high-net-worth individuals
Long-term interest in partnership
