Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in a high-acuity setting. This role involves providing exceptional care in a 16-bed unit, collaborating with a diverse staff of 120, and utilizing advanced technology in patient monitoring and care.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Assist with immediate newborn care and support high-risk pregnancies.
Monitor maternal and fetal health using electronic fetal monitoring systems.
Work collaboratively with OB/GYN staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
High-risk care experience preferred.
Current NRP and BLS/ALS certifications are required.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
