Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN Nursing TeamUpstate Community OBGYN and Midwifery is seeking a patient-centered, compassionate, dependable, and team oriented Registered Nurse to join our OB/GYN nursing team.In this role, you'll work closely with physicians, certified nurse midwives, and physician assistants to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional outpatient setting.Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Closed for Lunch 12:00–1:00)Pay: $33–$43 per hour, based on experienceSign-On Bonus: Available for qualified full-time candidatesLocation: Upstate Community Hospital - 4900 Broad Rd, Syracuse NYNo Weekends:Note:This position is with Upstate Community Medical, P.C. and is not a state position.Your Day-to-Day:Patient Care:Provide professional nursing care to patients for the Department of OB/GYN.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in the practice.Manage telephone communications with patients, providers, staff, insurance companies, and other outside entitiesTriage patient calls and perform other clinical dutiesTake vital signsAdminister injectionsAssist clinician with examsConduct prescription callsArrange for patient testingObtain authorizations and referrals for patient's insuranceAssist with patient educationMaintain medical chartsQualifications:Current New York State RN license/certification (required)Current CPR certification (required)Triage experience (preferred)Epic experience (preferred)
