Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:30am-2pm

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team‑focused Cook to join our school food service program. If you take pride in preparing nutritious and delicious meals, enjoy a positive work environment working with students, and want a schedule that supports work–life balance, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook high‑quality meals by following provided recipes and ensure everything is ready for scheduled serving times.

Support daily meal operations by assisting with forecasting, preparing special diet items, helping with special events, and stocking/serving menu items during service.

Maintain food safety and compliance by following HHFKA serving guidelines, completing HACCP logs and production records, and monitoring participation trends.

Keep the kitchen running smoothly through regular cleaning, organizing storage areas using FIFO practices, and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment.

Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations and great service.

Contribute to team growth by helping train new staff and filling in other roles when needed.

What You Bring

1 year food service experience preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and convert quantities for large batches.

Dependability, integrity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
