Conduct evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts, developing tailored treatment plans

Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function

Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes

Inform patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise initiatives

Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards

Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure cohesive care delivery

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification highly desirable

Specialized certifications, such as in neurology or geriatrics, are advantageous but not mandatory

Prior experience strongly preferred

Capability to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
