Customer satisfaction is a hallmark of Steel Fabricators where over ninety percent of our work is performed for repeat customers. Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Assist management in assessing departmental needs and organizational planning and development, evaluating structure, job design and manpower forecasting throughout the company.

monitors performance evaluation/review processes and revises as necessary.
•
Oversee employee payroll processing, benefit administration, and employee relation's functions (event planning)
•
Compiles and analyzes a variety of data (turnover, absenteeism, etc.) Engage with outside suppliers to provide employee services such as temporary Labor.

Develops Employee Relations by counseling employees and other managers on various employee relation issues.

Ensures compliance in recordkeeping and reporting related to all areas of responsibility ensuring all are consistent with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations (i.e. I-9, workers compensation claims and return to work, safety, etc.)

Develops and maintains the DOT Driver certification program for their respective site.
•
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of human resource experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to operate various types of HR software.
•
Bi-lingual English/Spanish desirable but not required.
•
The employee is required to be present in the office during normal work hours to be available for one-on-one and group interactions with employees. This role also may require flexibility to work occasionally early morning or late evening hours as needed to support business operations and employee engagement
General office and constant exposure to computer display. Occasional interaction with production employees in the fabrication facility. Occasional travel for training, job fairs, etc.
