Fabrication / Welder - Immediate Hire

We have an immediate opening for a Welder at our Riverside, MO facility.
It does not include all aspects of the position such as the potential additional duties assigned by supervisors and the requirement for flexibility in helping others for the company's overall benefit.
The welder will use welding techniques to build stainless steel food processing machinery, and use their knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. The welder will use their knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. The welder will use mathematics to solve problems pertaining to welding functions. The welder will manage how much time is used on a project. The welder will perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. The welder will observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources before starting a project.
Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing the job function.
Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc.
Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts of warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials.
Will lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Ensure assembly tasks are completed within budget and on-time per schedule.
Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
Understand and maintain both quality and quantity standards and expectations.
Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
3-5 years' gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
~Must be able to work overtime including some weekends when workload requires this.
