As a Preschool Teacher at the OFJCC Leslie Family Preschool you will create and implement programs and promote learning in a licensed, Reggio‑inspired, play‑based, constructivist preschool program serving children ages 18 months to 5 years in accordance with our guiding principles and values.
Our community. Our educators, staff, families and children… everyone needs a community to hold them up and share joy. 14 relatively new classrooms, four spacious and creative play yards, two full and bountiful gardens and an orchard!
60 talented and committed educators including a gardening, outdoor classroom, movement and music specialist all on staff full time. We are a mission‑based, non‑profit and exist to enhance the lives of our community.
health/dental/vision; 4 weeks paid vacation and holiday pay (secular and Jewish holidays); We’ll take care of you.
12 or more ECE units (AA and/or BA degree in ECE or related field & teacher permit preferred). At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child‑care/educational environment.
Knowledge of Constructivist/Reggio Emilia Approach to teaching and learning desirable.
Flexible and enthusiastic. Think teachers are heroes and children will save the world.
*Comparable experience and willingness to enroll in ECE classes will be considered.
