Chef (Weekends)

A Faith-Based, Assisted and Independent Living community sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. 27 per hour based on skills and experience.

Shifts vary from 6am to 2pm and 10am and 6pm. Every Other Weekend required.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Supervisor kitchen staff in cooperation with Director of Dietary/Executive Chef.

Handle and prepare food in accordance with federal, state and local sanitary regulations.

Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.

Ensure food items are prepared, cooled and stored in adherence to corporate, local, state and federal guidelines.

Supervise and set up steam table for Main Dining Room and trayline meal service to facilitate organized, speedy and sanitary delivery of meals.

Check outgoing food for proper amounts, types and quality of food.

Properly care for dietary equipment.
