Outpatient Physical TherapistThe Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directions. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective returns to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, while performing other professional duties related to patient care and development of therapy services.ResponsibilitiesComplete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.Document medical records clearly, concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and institutional guidelines.Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval as necessary for clinical care.Participate in the student program, providing a positive learning environment through supervision and mentorship.Actively engage in creating and pursuing an individualized professional development plan.Understand and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance services.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.Current CPR Certification.Active and valid license for the state where work will be performed.ScheduleThis position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, requiring 8-hour shifts with a primary focus on orthopedics, managing approximately 10-12 visit patients daily.Assignment DurationThis is a 6-month contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
